1MZF-E Engine For Sale

1MZF-E Engine For Sale

Toyota designed and manufactures the MZ engine family. Some of the variants are still in production. They are V6 engines, have DOHC [double overhead camshafts] and make use of aluminum alloy engine block and heads. Toyota produces # 3 MZ engines. We have all three variants, the 3MZ-FE, the 2MZ-FE and the 1MZ-FE Toyota engine for sale.

The 1MZF-E engine is a 3 Liter is designed for good fuel economy without a performance drop. Using light weight parts such as aluminum as a replacement for cast iron helps to reduce weight, and the power needed to push the vehicle. Use of lightweight materials is one way to increase performance and economy in an inexpensive manner.

Certain high temperature plastics are used for intake manifolds as opposed to cast iron and aluminum. Ease of manufacturing is one reason they use plastics, and reduced weight as I mentioned already. The issue is more of how not to increase the weight of a car. With all of the add on luxuries and sound deadening insulation, finding ways to simply not increase weight is the challenge.

The 1MZ-FE with VVT-i is used in the Avalon, Highlander, Sienna and Camry. Output is 210 hp. Early versions of the VVT-i 1MZ used a dual throttle body, cast aluminum intake manifold, and EGR block off plates on the exhaust manifolds. As mentioned, later versions used an ABS plastic intake manifold to further weight reduction and decrease cost.

Toyota Racing Development [TRD] offered a bolt-on supercharger kit for the 1997–2000 Camry, 1998–2000 Sienna and 1999–2000 Solara. Power output jumped to 242 hp. The engine is structurally very strong to accept a turbocharger without additional design upgrades.

My suggestion for replacing an MZ engine would be to see if a used engine suits your needs. First off, they are available as JDM used engines. Engines from the Japanese Domestic Market are very appealing. The reasons are as noted. JDM engines come from low mileage [approx. 40,000 miles] cars from Japan. Here is a good article if you want details on why JDM engines are available in America.

JDM engines are my first recommendation for a Foreign car. We sell rebuilt engines and crate new engines too. You make the final choice, we provide the materials needed for you to make an educated decision. Call now and speak with a trained sales representative about how we can fill your needs. VG30E Engine For Sale

VG30E Engine For Sale

The Nissan engines with the tag VG are a series of engines by Nissan Motor Company which started production in 1983. It is a V6 engine. The early VG engines had 12 valves per head and was an SOHC [single overhead camshaft] motor. The later 24 valve per head engines had DOHC, [double overhead camshafts]. The VG 30E Nissan engine for sale featured in this post is 3.0 Liters [3000 cc] in size.

There has been a total of 12 VG engine variants produced over 18 years. The design was so solid and successful it became the flagship V6 design used by Nissan. By changing the displacement and adding different performance options ranging from a plain Jane automobiles to the Nissan and Infinity ultra high performance sports cars and luxury sedans, coverage was excellent.

For all practical purposes, this VG30E motor makes seamless amounts of horsepower, depending on the configuration, making acceleration from 0 to 100 a real surprise, even to me, someone who owned a real muscle car from the ’60′s. Silent, intense, speed, completely isolated from any exterior noise.

The VG30E specifically was used in these Nissan models:

• 1984–1989 Nissan 300ZX/Nissan Fairlady Z
• 1985–1994 Nissan Maxima
• 1987–1988 Nissan 200SX SE
• 1990–1992 Infiniti M30/Nissan Leopard
• 1990–1995 Hardbody Truck
• 1990–1995 Nissan Pathfinder/Nissan Terrano
• 1992–1999 Nissan Gloria/Nissan Cedric (179 hp)
• 1992–1998 Nissan Quest/Mercury Villager..Source=Wiki

With twelve variations of the VG30E engine available, one might think it is a difficult process to determine which engine is in your car. A common issue with folks who are not automotive literate. For an engine enthusiast or specialist, identifying the model engine is easy. All we need is the VIN of your car. The vehicle identification number is on your registration and on the end of the drivers side door on a sticker.

GotEngines.com operates with the end result in mind. A terrific product and excellent customer experience is what every client should end up with. We start with some education and go from there helping you decide which variant of the venerable VG30E engine for sale works best for your needs and budget. Call now and speak with a specialist.

SRT-4 Turbo For Sale

SRT-4 Turbo For Sale

SRT-4 Turbo For Sale

The Dodge SRT-4 was the second fastest factory stock production Chrysler vehicle, and one of the fastest Dodges made since the late ’60′s and ’70′s. Even with such intense acceleration for an inexpensive car, the Dodge Neon SRT-4 introduced in 2003, costs under $20,000. SRT is an acronym for “Street and Racing Technology”. The SRT-4 engine is 2.4 liters and has a turbo. While both turbo and non turbo engines may be nearly identical in most other ways, the engine and SRT-4 turbo for sale are as one unit only, in most cases.

In a Car and Driver Magazine road test, the Neon SFT-4 will go 0 to 60 in 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 153 miles per hour. From a 2.4L engine that makes 223 horsepower. Which is 48 more horsepower than the comparable Nissan SE-R rated at 175 horsepower. That is darn fast for a production 4 cylinder engine.

With practically no internal design changes, a new intake manifold was designed to mount a turbo charger on a stock 2.4 Liter engine. With some appropriate performance changes to the camshaft and a few other performance oriented modifications Chrysler was very successful bolting the turbo manifold- setup right on any 2.4 model engine.

The Neon SRT-4 has a Mitsubishi TD04 Turbocharger that boosts anywhere from 11 to 14 psi. Boost effectively raises compression and horsepower. To much boost ruins engines, unless specially prepared.

Combined with the SRT-4′s turbo-charged power house is a high-performance five-speed manual NVG [New Venture Gear] T850 transaxle and a dual outlet exhaust system. For less than $20,000, it’s hard to find a car at over twice the price with more performance from the factory.

Turbo’s are the rage. All of the cars company’s offer turbo charged engines now, extensively. Simply put, installing a mild street turbo on any engine boosts the horsepower and torque. Torque is an important power feature, not as much torque is produced by small engines, adding a turbo gives a small engine the feel of a larger engine. In this case it is a direct bolt on with factory parts.

Suppose you are only in the market for a used or rebuilt turbo assembly for an SRT-4 engine. We are on of the few company’s to offer the complete turbo for sale as a “bolt on” “turn key” package. Meaning that it literally will bolt right on your 2.4 engine. All you need is a few gaskets.

Please call and find out more about our turbos for sale, and in this case an SRT-4 turbo for sale. GotEngines.com is more than just a great engine supply company. Make sure you call us for items like turbos and other parts that bolt to, or are part of the engine, but not the whole engine. We aim to satisfy, guaranteed.

2RZF-E Engine for Sale

August 29th, 2010
2RZE-FE Engine For Sale

2RZE-FE Engine For Sale

The 2RZF-E Toyota Tacoma engine [the Hilux was the original name of the truck] was an extremely popular small truck engine, it has been upgraded many times (staying with the current technologies) since 1968 when the Hilux was first introduced. When the Hilux first came out, it was powered by the smallest R-engine variant, the 2R, a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder motor. It was upgraded many times, while maintaining only 4-cylinders. Now the engines are bigger and more powerful and come with turbo chargers, diesel engines with turbochargers are available too. Some pickup truck models have larger displacement V6 engines.

Toyota R Engine
The R series engines were chosen by Toyota as the primary engines to power the Toyota Hilux pickup trucks. The R engine came in 13 forms from 1968 to 1995. The models included:
2R,
3R,
8R,
8R-C,
8R-E,
12R,
18R,
18R-C,
18R-E,
20R,
22R,
22R-E, and the
22R-TE

As mentioned earlier, the original 2R was only 1.5 liters which is smaller than some current motorcycle engines for example. Although expanded several times and many factory modifications and upgrades were performed throughout it’s run, ending with the final 2.4 liter 22R-E used in 1995. The 22R has stood the test of time for it’s durability and trouble free lifespan. Considered to be one of the best Toyota engines ever, known more for longevity and reliability than power, we have heard many times of engines being able to reach 300,000 miles.

Toyota VZ Engine
The VZ engines by Toyota were the first V6 engines in the Toyota pickup line. The VZ engine runs on gasoline and used electronic fuel injection and controls exclusively. The pickups used the 3VZ engine from 1988 to 1995. In came the 5VZ-FE. Displacement was increased from 3.0 Liters to 3.4 liters. The 5VZ-FE is known as one of the best V6 Toyota engines ever by it’s owners. Hilux owners with a 3VZ engine failure often swap out to a 5VZ rather than rebuilding or replacing a 3VZ with problems or high miles.

Toyota RZ Engine
As a sign of the times, some models of Hilux went back to 4-cylinders [for fuel economy] with the RZ in 1996. The RZ is a family of three different 4-cylinder engines: 1RZ-E, 2RZ-FE and 3RZ-FE. With only 4 cylinders, the new engines power output was as high as some of the V6 engines, with better economy.

Their displacements were 2.0 liters, 2.4 liters, and 2.7 liters. The 2RZ was introduced in 1995 and discontinued production in 2004 in the Hilux. Still in use to this day.

Don’t be overwhelmed with this information. And if you need more information because you are here searching for a Toyota Tacoma or Hilux engine for sale, we enjoy helping our customers understand more about which engine replacement variant will be the best solution.

Ask our qualified salespeople about, JDM engines for foreign cars, Japanese car engines, rebuilt engines and used engines. We have a variant to suit your needs. Make the call. Customer satisfaction guaranteed. GotEngines.com

k20 iVTEC engine for sale

k20 iVTEC Engine For Sale, Honda

k20 iVTEC Engine For Sale, Honda

The K series of Honda engines are 4 cylinder engines sporting Hondas new iVTEC valve timing system. There are eight [8] versions of K-20 engines,
K20A
K20A2
K20A3
K20A4
K20A6
K20Z1
K20Z2
K20Z3
There are two versions of Honda’s i-VTEC system available for K series engines; variable timing control (VTC) can be found on the intake cam of both engines. The VTEC system on engines like the K20A3 only activates on the intake cam at low RPM’s for improved fuel dispersion.

At high RPMs, both intake valves open fully to improve engine breathing. The iVTEC system is computer and sensor controlled and is used in the Acura RSX Type-S. Functionally speaking, VTEC systems operate on both valves, allowing both to benefit from advanced computer controlled virtually infinite cam profiles.

A brief explanation: the system iVTEC combines the VTEC technology with VTC. The K20A engines use VTEC-E [E stands for electric] and Power-VTEC technology combined to alternate between 12-valve economy range and a 16-valve power range.

For the K20A engine however, fuel economy outweighs power as the main objective of iVTEC.

With this type of advanced technology, we always recommend that you have the engine control unit and all of the engine and chassis sensors tested or examined by the dealer or another professional to make sure it had no bearing on your engine failure.

We have exact match engine control units for sale if you need one. We match the serial number of the car to the same specs. as the old ECU. The advantage of an ‘’exact match’’ computer is that the vehicle will drive exactly the same way it did before the failure. In fact we have engine control units for sale separately, for those who don’t need an engine.

A list of the engine variations available are: JDM engines (Japanese Domestic Market), good used engines, rebuilt / remanufactured engines and crate engines. Here is an article on JDM engines.

I would suggest making the call and speaking with a sales representative with a sold background and hands on experience in the automotive engine field. Our primary job is to listen to your needs, and help you choose the best replacement engine. GotEngines.com. “Where our customers send their friends.”

RB26DETT Engine For Sale

RB26DETT Engine For Sale

Looking for a Nissan RB26DETT engine for sale? Used primarily behind the strange Nissan Skyline GTR? We have them and their big brothers for sale as well. The RB20DET and the RB25DET. All three are inline or straight 6 cylinder engines.

RB20DET: The runt of the litter, the RB20DET first appeared in the R31 Skyline as well as the R32. However later Skyline models switched to the larger and more powerful RB25DET for their performance models.

The RB20DET also found a home in Nissan’s Laurels which was only available in Japan. The first Laurel was developed by the Prince Motor Company, consisting of both 2-door and 4-door variants. With 215 hp to boot, this engine was no slug, yet when matched up to heavy car bodies it had a it’s work cut out. If you’re looking for a used engine you can pick one up, but be careful as they’re getting to be less prevalent and that makes your search more important.

RB25DET: The RB25DET was the engine powering the performance oriented rear wheel drive (RWD) R33 and R34 Skylines. With 250 hp on tap it was well suited to the larger Skyline body shells. The engine can be sourced from GotEngines.com and is my personal recommendation for an inline 6 engine swap.

RB26DETT: The ultimate. Powerful and responsive is what you can expect out of this motor, with a high degree of reliability. Turbocharged engines are structurally stronger internally, for the added horsepower over non turbo engines.

This engine was built primarily for use in the GTR racing class. With 280 plus hp at your foot and the quick response time of the twin turbos this engine the ultimate version of Nissan’s inline six. We have all of the common variants for sale, including JDM engines for sale, which are a terrific value for the foreign car owner.

Knowing the intimate details of each motor may not be very important to you if you want to purchase an RB26DETT engine for sale. You want the facts on variants, costs and guarantees. Our engine salesmen/councilors are trained in the art of Japanese engines too, and look forward to being of help. Make the call and find out why our customers sent their friends here. GotEngines.com

f 250 engine

August 24th, 2010

The first F series Ford pickup trucks were introduced in 1948, it’s seems hard to believe. The original F 250 was designated an F-2 or 3/4 ton pickup truck with a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 5,700 pounds. It was actually in 1953 (the year I was born) when Ford decided to change the numerals to F 250.

Looking for an F-250 engine? We work very hard and are uncompromising and relentless when someone calls us for an F 250 engine for any age F 250.

Ford has produced many engines for the F-250 pickup truck over 57 years of production. Ranging from the venerable Flathead V8 to the turbocharged diesel engines which are so popular in today’s society. The original Flathead and Y-block motors are long gone and relatively difficult to locate. Although, we receive requests for them periodically. And can satisfy this small group of enthusiasts with little problems.

By the time the fifth generation of F 250 pickups was released in 1967, Ford was using what I call ”modern” over head valve (OHV) engines which can be located quite easily. However most engines that old come in the rebuilt form only. It is highly unlikely that one would find a good running used engine from that era.

By 1980 the seventh generation of F-series pickup trucks were released. This is the era when Ford started using engines most of us would recognize. In fact the whole truck was redesigned with a new and luxurious interior trim package, and sharp looking exterior paint jobs and adornments. Actually it was the beginning of the generation of truck lovers.

I’m guilty of being one of the people who fell in love with the sky-high 1970′s F 250 trucks with four wheel drive. That was well before my love affair with GM trucks began. My truck had the nearly indestructible boat anchor 390 cubic inch engine. Fast it wasn’t, slow and powerful it was. That was actually the first automotive engine I ever fully rebuilt in 1976. What a heavy weight monster.

By 1987 Ford introduced the first light duty diesel engine truck in America. Still offering 6 different gasoline engines to boot, the diesel became a smash hit immediately and the rest is history. Diesels are extraordinarily popular in all brands of trucks now.

Believe it or not, Ford is now producing the 12th generation of F-series pickups now. Ford has sold more F-series trucks than any other American brand, quite simply, it’s the most popular truck in the world.

With the above statement being made, we know that there are literally hundreds of thousands of F-250 trucks on the road. Most owners of F-250 pickups do a good job of wearing them out. I mean piling on over 200,000 miles before a replacement is necessary. And not surprisingly, a large percentage of those owners call us about a replacement engine, before they would even consider a trade in. Simply put, F-250 owners love their trucks.

Before jumping off a cliff if you need a replacement F 250 engine, give us a shout and see how affordable an F 250 Ford engine is. Our job is to supply you with an engine that suits your best interests. And our salesmen know their stuff. Allow us to assist you in your endeavor to locate the finest F 250 engine for your tuck. Call us now. GotEngines.com.

mitsubishi v6 engine

Mitsubishi v6 Engines

Mitsubishi v6 Engines

When searching for a Mitsubishi v6 engine the big question is which one of the three families does the engine belong to. For those who want to know there are three families of v6 Mitsubishi engines. All three families of engines are used primarily in it’s midsized lines, compacts and coupes.

Lets start with the 6A1 engine. This is the runt of the litter. it was introduced in 1992 in the Mirage and I believe it is the smallest v6 engine currently in production. Of the 6A1 family there are three versions. The standard 1.6L which is the smallest of all three, then the 6A12 which is somewhat larger at 2.0L, and finally the 6A13 which is 2.5L and has a turbocharger.

The next engine in the v6 engine family is the 6B3. This is a 3.0L engine first used in the 2007 Outlander.

The 6G7 is the third version, also known as the Cyclone v6 which is available in 2.0L, 3.0L, 3.5L and finally 3.8L versions. It is the their most commonly used v6 engine. It was not used from 1999 to 2001 as Mitsubishi experimented with a v8 engine, before going back to the 6G7 in 2002.

Although Mitsubishi makes a tremendous variety of engines, they choose to limit the v6 engines to three basic versions. The primary reason for this was the early success of the engine design. The design was easily upgraded as technology improved since the integrity and design were somewhat advanced at the time it was introduced.

Having an engine series in production for such a long time allows the engineers to continue perfecting the product. As many Mitsubishi owners already know, this is a highly reliable engine which gets extraordinary fuel mileage. In-fact, it is so reliable many owners have no idea what engine is in the car.

Not everyone cares what engine is in their car as long as it performs well. Which in a certain sense makes the job easier if you were in a spot where you had an engine failure and were searching for a replacement.

This is the situation where we can prove our worth as a company. To simply the matter, all we need to identify the engine is your vehicle identification number, which is on the registration and usually on a sticker on the drivers side door on the end.

Presenting the VIN helps ID the motor immediately, allowing us to present our lineup of replacement engines to you. We offer a variety of viable engine options. Our line up includes low mileage used engines, rebuilt engines and JDM engines. All you have to do is make the call and our councilors will help you choose the engine that meets your budget and fills your best interests. GotEngines.com

7.4 engine for sale

August 22nd, 2010
7.4 engine For Sale

7.4 engine For Sale

There is only one 7.4L engine that I know of. I rarely refer to it as a 7.4L, because people in my age group who love cars called them the Big Block Chevy 454 engine. Meaning of course, 454 cubic inches, although I have adapted well to the metric terminology, A 454 will always be a 454 to me, not a 7.4L engine. Since everything is in metric numerology, if I was searching for a 454, I would ask for a Chevy 7.4L engine for sale as many salespeople might say ”what” if I asked for 454.

Very few people can make a good argument that the big block Chevy was not one of, if not the best big cubic inch engine ever. And I’m one of the folks who owned a 1966 Corvette (I earned the money and payed for it myself in 1971) with a big block 427 cubic inch engine. In 1970 Chevy increased the 427 to 454 cubic inches.

The 7.4 liter engine was still available as a 7400CC (cubic centimeters) until 1996 when it was replaced by the GenVl Vortec 7400 which is still used in current 3500 series and up Chevy and GMC pickup trucks and some GM chassis motor-homes. Quite obviously this is a tried and proven engine.

It’s equally as popular with the hot rod crowd as it is with the work truck crowd. It simply depends on the application as to which version of the 7.4L, 7400, or 454 cubic inch engine will suit you best. In fact the 7.4L engine is still available in crate form. Brand new.

Essentially the work motors are designed for carrying loads and working, thus having excellent street manners with power available at low speeds making it ideal for commercial purposes. The high performance versions of which several are available are designed to burn the rear tires off your car. Not a good option for commercial or work truck purposes.

Obviously choosing the right 7.4 engine for your application is important. One thing our company is not, is just another ordinary engine recycler. Our goals go beyond the sale itself. We want to make sure we provide the right engine for your application. With that in mind, we are likely to ask a lot of questions in order to get a good idea of how to serve you best.

If you want to buy a 7.4 engine for sale, our guarantee plans and expedient service make us a perfect choice. Take a minute to speak with one of our representatives about which one of the various 7.4L engines is the perfect match for your truck. Don’t forget some of our engines ship for free. In most cases the engine is out the door on the way to you in 24 hours or less. GotEngines.com

5VZFE engine for sale

August 22nd, 2010

Toyota developed the 5VZ-FE engines as a replacement for the 3VZ-E engines. It is a V6 design double overhead camshaft (DOHC) and is 3.4L (3400cc) in size.

The VZ was the first family of V6 engines ever used in the Toyota Hilux. The VZ engine is gasoline operated and all versions featured advanced electronic fuel injection.

To avoid confusion, the Toyota Hilux pickup was introduced in 1969 and still remains in use all over the world as of today. The name Hilux was a replacement name for the Stout. The Hilux name in the US was retied from 1976 until 1995, when it was reintroduced as the Tacoma.

The Toyota Hilux went to the larger displacement engine in 1996, from the lower powered 3VZ motor used from 1988 to 1995. It has been touted as the best V6 Toyota Hilux engine ever used, for its reliability, light weight, and excellent fuel economy.

Many Hilux owners with the 3VZ engine often decide to install the 5VZ-FE rather than rebuilding or replacing a 3VZ with problems or high mileage.

As a matter of interest, the naming process of the 5VZ is as such: the 5th generation of the VZ family of engines with Economy narrow-angle valve DOHC (F) and Electronic Fuel injection (E).

The 5VZ has become a very popular engine swap for owners of pickups and SUV’s which were in need of an replacement engine. Because of the ease of the swap over, many Toyota enthusiast exchange the smaller 3VZ engine when it breaks down or needs to be rebuilt. See the above video.

With that in mind, and the length of time these motors have been in production it is quite obvious that this is one of the most successful V6 engines Toyota has built. We are not engine swap specialists, that type of information is all over the internet. Our job is to supply our customers with the replacement engine requested.

However, the majority of our customers are replacing the engine in a stock application. And that is where our expertise is. So, if you need a bit of education regarding a Toyota Tacoma 5VZFE engine for sale. Call one of our specialists and allow us to provide some council on whether a used, rebuilt, remanufactured, or JDM engine suits your best interests. GotEngines.com
