Our area will lose 4 Chrysler dealerships. That is a lot considering I live in a small town surrounded by small towns. One of the dealers is 40 or 50 years old.
Not much to say about it as far as I’m concerned. It is a bad situation that has a good chance of turning good. What I do want to say is that people who own Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge products don’t have to worry about having their warranties honored or getting their cars repaired.
Even though the dealerships will lose their rights to purchase cars from Chrysler LLC. Most will remain open selling their other brands of cars if it applies, but more importantly the repair and body shops will continue to do business, perhaps adding repairs to all brands of cars to their services.
At some point, after restructuring their business plans under bankruptcy laws, some dealers will reopen. Realistically, there will never be as many dealers as there was before, things will be different.
What will not be different is that you still be able get any sort of replacement engine from GotEngines.com for your Chrysler-Mopar product. I expect them (GotEngines.com) to ramp things up specifically for the people who own Chrysler products so there is no gap in service.
Either way there may be a surplus of good mechanics looking for jobs at competent repair shops. We can always use more mechanics..
Chrysler products have a lot of history. I hope it all works out for everyone involved. If you can’t find the information you seek in our GotEngines.com Blog, please call us at 1-877-258-0664 or ask your question or leave a comment here,
