My favorite choice as an engine replacement strategy for my 1988 GMC 1 ton 4×4 pickup with a 5.7 liter engine would be a rebuilt, reconditioned or remanufactured Chevrolet engine. They all stand for the same thing. Just different terminology or jargon.
