Simply stated, remanufacturing is the process of dis-assembly of products (motors/engines) in our case, during which time every part or sub-assembly is inspected, thoroughly cleaned, repaired (rebuilt) or replaced then reassembled to like new (or better) working condition. Other terms may be substituted with remanufacturing in the automotive industry. One such term is rebuilt.
